Birthdays and Easter

Friday, March 21st, 2008

First order of business today is to wish Chris a very happy birthday… they grow up so fast.

Secondly, today marks the start of a four-day weekend for those of us in the United Kingdom in honour of Easter. I am a huge fan of four-day weekends. More time with that awesome wife of mine, no early starts and hey, the weather is picking up too.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate it, happy long-weekend-off-work to those of you in Britain and happy Friday to anyone else not covered by the above.

Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays!

Monday, December 24th, 2007

With just a few hours left until the big day, I thought I’d wish anyone reading this a very Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays as appropriate) - may Santa fill your living rooms with gifts as tall as the tree.

I like it when people provide online Christmas cards or something of that ilk, but sadly I’ve found myself pushed for time and so can’t deliver such a treat this year. Then again, after the offering I presented visitors to my area of the web during Christmas 2005, you can decide for yourselves if you’re missing out…

I’m off to enjoy the festive season with the best Jessica in the world, by our newly decorated tree:

For your yuletide audio requirements, why not check out the Christmas offerings from my friends Staffraen Hakon (a.k.a Oli) and Unstatuesque (who used to be called Dialect but generally answers to Daniel whenever I’ve seen him).

Eat, Drink (if you like that sort of thing) and be merry!

The Road to Wembley

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

Next Thursday (22nd November) I’ll be playing for the Microsoft Team in the Microsoft Charity Cup at Wembley. It’s all in aid of a charity called Wooden Spoon, who help disadvantaged children and young people.

Kick-off is at 6pm and anyone can purchase tickets to come along and support the charity, watch the games and have a laugh. Ticket prices are as follows:

Adult £10
Child - £5
Family (x 2 adults and x 2 children) - £20

At the moment the only way to purchase tickets is by requesting them through a contact at work, so if you’d like to come along get in touch and I’ll get hold of them for you.
