Back in the day when VHS ruled the rental world, I’m sure we all remember the little stickers on the tapes that said “Be Kind, Rewind”. I imagine we also all remember that very few people were kind.
But reminiscing aside, this leads nicely in to the real purpose of this post - an eagerly anticipated film which goes by the same name. Be Kind, Rewind is the latest Jack Black film, directed by the man who brought us Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Michel Gondry. The trailer had me laughing early on and I can’t wait for it to arrive on these shores. Those lucky Americans get the film on the 25th January, while those of us stuck this side of the Atlantic will have to wait until the 15th February.
Apparently watching films on your own isn’t as good as watching with others:
A report from Science Daily says that scientists have proven that the presence of other people may enhance our movie-watching experiences by influencing and gradually synchronizing viewer emotional responses.
