Microsoft have released a beta of Internet Explorer 8, for web designers & developers.
I can’t say I use IE very often at the moment (except at work, of course… and for testing) but with the announcement earlier this week that IE8 will have standards-based rendering as it’s default mode (via Meyerweb), I’m more inclined to check it out sooner rather than later.

Microsoft are running the Imagine Cup, a competition for developers, again this year. They have a page where you can register for the Cup and be in with a chance of winning an Xbox 360 (just for signing up!) without actually committing to enter the competition proper. A colleague at work told me about it so I thought I’d share - you can register your details and enter the Xbox prize draw at this link.
I just love free stuff for little effort, providing Lady Luck is on your side…
