Now this would have been nice on that 8 hour flight back in August - American Airlines are set to lead the way with free in-flight Wi-Fi starting next year [via Crunchgear].

Starting next year, transcontinental 767-200s will be equipped with Wi-Fi and broadband access via Aircell, who has a similar deal in place with Virgin Airlines.

So that’s my airline choices decided for the next year or so then…

Just a couple of days until I head off to Bumbershoot 2007! Myself and my lovely wife Jessica will be arriving in Seattle tomorrow, ready for a weekend containing The Shins, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Aqueduct, Crowded House, amongst many others… oh, and a heavy pedal bike rodeo.

With the Reading festival being in my hometown every year and an amazing experience at Denmark’s Roskilde festival in 2006, I can’t wait to experience this insanely feature packed event in a great American city I’ve wanted to visit for years! I’ll let you all know how much of an awesome time we have…
