My year in cities (2008)

Monday, December 29th, 2008

Taking a lead from Jason Kottke, here’s my list of cities visited in 2008.

Reading, UK*
London, UK*
Manchester, UK
Bristol, UK*
Munich, Germany
Innsbruck, Austria
Missoula, MT, USA*
Anaconda, MT, USA*
Philipsburg, MT, USA
Great Falls, MT, USA
Butte, MT, USA
Denver, CO, USA
Salt Lake City, UT, USA
Minneapolis, MN, USA
San Francisco, CA, USA
New York City, NY, USA*
Bristol, CT, USA*
Jersey City, NJ, USA*

Those with an asterisk (*) next to them are cities with repeat, non-consecutive visits. Those in italics are cheeky inclusions as I never left the airports in said cities, I was just passing through. I had to kill time on layovers though and so I’m counting them as they had windows in the terminals…

There are no words

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

No words. Thank you, America.

Monty Panesar

Monday, March 24th, 2008

I just found out that England cricketer Monty Panesar went to Loughborough University at the same time I did and studied Computer Science. Not that I knew him or anything, but that was surprising.
